Check Point Software, MyRepublic Broadband, Partner to Secure Singapore’s SMEs

Check Point Software Technologies, a pioneer and global leader in cyber security solutions, recently announced a strategic partnership with MyRepublic Business/Broadband (MR), a leading digital telecommunications provider, to launch a joint solution, “MyRepublic (MR) Email Guard” as a service.

This collaboration brings enterprise-grade email security to Singapore’s Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with plug-and-play deployment, and ongoing administration, management, and support by MyRepublic, eliminating the need for SMEs to hire a dedicated cyber security team. The service is specifically designed to address the rising volume of sophisticated phishing and Business Email Compromise (BEC) attacks targeting the local business sector. The launch comes at a critical time as the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) pushes for enhanced baseline cyber hygiene under the Cyber Essentials (2025) framework. According to the Singapore Cyber Landscape 2024/2025 report, phishing attacks in Singapore surged by 49% in 2024 alone, with 12% of those cases utilising AI-generated content to bypass traditional filters.
