Group-IB Leads Collaborations to Strengthen Cybersecurity in Southeast Asia

Institutions Coming Together to Enhance Cybersecurity in the Region

Group-IB, a leading creator of cybersecurity technologies to investigate, prevent, and fight digital crime, has announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with HELP University, the BIMP-EAGA Business Council (BEBC), and the BIMP-EAGA ICT CEO Forum (BEICF) to advance cybersecurity education and solutions across the Southeast Asia region.

This strategic partnership seeks to enhance cybersecurity knowledge, capabilities, and solutions for organisations and cybersecurity and IT professionals in the region. Under the guidance of BEBC and BEICF, this collaboration brings together Group-IB’s cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions and services and HELP University’s educational expertise to address the increasing need for robust cybersecurity measures in today’s digital age.

Group-IB will support BEBC and BEICF’s cybersecurity initiatives by providing cutting-edge tools, including their Unified Risk Platform, to help organisations in BIMP-EAGA prevent cyber threats and brand-related fraud. This industry collaboration ensures that businesses across the region can access top-tier cybersecurity intelligence to safeguard their digital assets.

Group-IB Leading the Way Forward in Cybersecurity

HELP University will collaborate with BEBC and the BEICF to deliver specialised technical training programmes in cybersecurity across BIMP-EAGA. These programmes, utilising insights and practical knowledge from Group-IB’s cybersecurity experts, will provide IT professionals with advanced skills in digital forensics, reverse engineering, and threat investigation. Upon completion, participants will receive a joint certificate from HELP University and Group-IB recognising their enhanced capabilities in cybersecurity.

Through this partnership, HELP University, Group-IB, BEBC, and BEICF aim to build a stronger cybersecurity ecosystem within the BIMP-EAGA region by sharing expertise, facilitating knowledge transfer, and developing initiatives that address the complex cyber challenges facing today’s digital economy. It will also enable continuous evaluation and expansion of new initiatives, ensuring that the region remains resilient against evolving cyber threats.
