Indosat Launches Security Command Centre Powered by Cisco

Ushering in a New Era of Cybersecurity for Indonesia

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) has officially launched its Security Command Centre (SCC) in Jakarta, marking a significant leap forward for the country’s digital resilience as Artificial Intelligence (AI) rapidly transforms the threat landscape.

The SCC is powered by Cisco’s unified security platform, Splunk’s advanced threat detection and machine analytics, and the local and global expertise of Cisco Customer Experience Services. Together, these technologies deliver real-time detection, investigation, and response at a scale that matches the pace of Indonesia’s growing digital economy. As digital transformation and AI adoption accelerate, the SCC provides continuous visibility and AI-driven insights, helping organisations prevent disruptions before they occur.

Democratising Security the Indosat Way

Indosat is democratising security and, through the SCC, empowers operations teams and organisations of all sizes with the managed services needed to navigate today’s complex digital landscape with confidence.

“The launch of Indosat’s Security Command Centre, in collaboration with Cisco, strengthens Indonesia’s cybersecurity posture and reinforces our commitment to protecting government, businesses, and communities,” said Vikram Sinha, President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison. “Combining world-class technology with local expertise creates a secure and resilient digital infrastructure that fuels innovation and meets Indonesia’s long-term digital ambitions.”

“Cisco is proud to continue our partnership with Indosat to establish a new benchmark for digital resilience in Indonesia. By delivering the combined power of Cisco and Splunk, we are providing the critical infrastructure and trusted foundation Indonesian organisations need to safeguard against AI-powered threats and lead in a digital economy,” said Chuck Robbins, Chair and CEO, Cisco.

As Indonesia’s businesses, public institutions, and communities embrace AI, they also face a surge in sophisticated cyber threats. Security must be woven into every layer of digital infrastructure; it cannot be a patchwork or an afterthought. The SCC makes this possible, giving organisations continuous monitoring, end-to-end visibility, and actionable intelligence, so they can focus on innovation and growth.
